Ice and Snow Safety

This year, winter has been quite a surprise! Very warm weather as well as melting snow and ice. But when snow and ice melt, the roads and sidewalks get extremely slippery.

To avoid any injuries, make sure to always look where you are going and always check your surroundings. A lot of kids who live close to their school, like to bike all school year long. They even ride their bikes in winter! Riding your bike in the winter is a very bad idea, especially if you do not have a helmet on! Serious injuries may occur if you are not careful enough. This is why parents should be more concerned on what your child is riding and what season it is.

Even if it is still winter, I feel as if summer is right around the corner. So, stop riding your bike, wait for summer, and stay safe!
