We are now walking in the winter wonderland of December.  The weather has gotten much colder, please make sure your child(ren) are dressed nice and warm for recess fun in the snow.

Wow, Wynyard Elementary’s 2014 Christmas Concert was incredible.  Every class worked extremely hard to make sure their performance was more than expected and that it would make you happy and full of Christmas spirit.  Every song seemed to give a very powerful, meaningful and joyful message.  Although it was one of our shorter programs, in my opinion, it was one of our very best.

Christmas is here which means the school year is almost halfway done.  That’s CRAZY!  This also means we get to go to family events, gatherings, parties, concerts, eat tons of food and get into the general spirit of Christmas and giving.  Getting ready for Christmas is a holly jolly time.  Many classes are getting ready with projects and fun activities.  Wynyard, I hope that you have a very Merry Christmas and that all of your Christmas dreams and wishes come true.

On Friday, December 19, it is the last day of school for 2014 and before our break.  We were able to have an early dismissal.  We were also able to wear our favorite pajamas and watch a movie together in the gym.  The WES students got to sit, relax and watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” for part of the day.

I hope that you have a wonderful break and I will see you in 2015.
