Subject:Christmas Time Around LCHS
It looks dark inside from the outside, but as soon as you walk through the doors of LCHS, music is blaring, Christmas lights are beaming, trees are decorated, and doors are decorated with fabulous ideas from the students.

With Christmas just around the corner, the SRC hung up Christmas lights around the school and said there was to be a door decorating contest to see who would eat first at the banquet on Friday. While everyone was decorating their doors, the SRC got to thinking that they needed more fun activities for the holidays, so they put together a bunch of spirit days for the month of December. My personal favourite was getting to wear pyjamas to school and then making my hot chocolate in the Home Ec. Room with all those yummy toppings. Wait! What was there all to choose from again? That's right! There was whipping cream, cherries, chocolate chips, skor chips, and marshmallows.

When Friday came, everyone dressed up in their formal wear and headed to the gym for the banquet. Everyone would finally see whose door was the best. The best door went to Mrs.Klapak with the Frozen theme, second went to Mrs. Crittenden with a reindeer, and third to Mr. Fitz with a giant snowman made of cups.

After the food was served and bellies were stuffed, the students and staff cleaned up the gym for the afternoon entertainment. The afternoon entertainment was a game show from Elite DJs in Saskatoon. The school had a blast answering weird and whacky questions.

At 2:10 everyone was finally let out of school to start enjoying their Christmas break. But remember school starts again on January 5, 2015!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the students and staff at LCHS!
