Wow! What an amazing group of people we have at Kelvington High School! Throughout these past couple weeks we have done some pretty cool things. Our senior boys’ volleyball team hosted their home tournament on October 31-November 1, 2014 and had mild success during this tournament. Congratulations to Sturgis on pulling out the gold medal!  Thanks to Ms. Guenther our students were treated to an amazing presentation by Ricky Forbes from Tornado Hunter Inc; the home of Greg Johnson. It was an awesome presentation that gave us insight on what it would be like next to a giant tornado. More congratulations go out to our junior “B” girls for winning pre-district volleyball and moving on to districts in Humboldt on November 6, 2014. The future of volleyball is safe in Kelvington thanks to the dedication of coaches, officials, parents, and athletes. Another gold medal was handed out to the Golden Hawks when the senior girls volleyball team beat Leroy in the final game of the Ituna tournament. This week we are looking forward to report cards, snow, and when Sean Cunningham; our sports coordinator will have his legs waxed in front of the school.  See you next week!
