Subject:A Time to Remember
The first term is almost finished at Schell! ~We have all been having an “AWESOME” time! I personally hate to see a term end, because it means one we are finished a quarter of the school year. It’s a scary/exciting first term for the preschoolers and a sad/emotional last term 1 for the grade 12’s. I hope everyone does great on their report cards! They will be sent home on November 5th, at the end of the day. If parents have any questions or concerns about the report cards, please come to evening conferences with the teachers on November 5th and 6th. Please see the newsletter for special conference times for the half time teachers.

November 11th is Remembrance Day. ~This is an important ceremony here at Schell so if you are looking for a place to remember ~those who have served for us come down to the Schell School gymnasium on November 6th at two o’clock. ~The K-3 will be singing O’Canada and hanging flags outside the school, while the grade 4-12s will be placing flags on all the world war one and two Veteran’s grave sites. We will be going to Holdfast, Dilke, Chamberlain, and Penzance’s cemeteries and pausing for a few minutes of silence to remember the sacrifices of each and every Veteran.

In the newsletter, you may have noticed we have no school on November 10th in lieu of conferences. Also, no school on November 11th because of Remembrance day. Everyone have a great and “AWESOME” long weekend and take some time to remember the fallen soldiers that have fought for our country and freedom!
