October's Awesome Activities
The second month of school is flying by.  We would like to congratulate Cudworth School for raising over $4500.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation.  On October 8th, the elementary students received a Fire Prevention presentation from the Cudworth firefighters.  Picture day was on October 17th and there is a movie night that the SRC organized.  The two movies playing are Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Transformers 4.  Another exciting event the SRC has planned is the annual Penny Carnival which will be held on October 31st; there will be plenty of games and a spooky haunted house! Everyone is welcome.  For each month of school, three students of different age groups are selected as Husky of the month and staff members are chosen as employee of the month.  The three groups are elementary (K-4), middle years (5-8), and high school (9-12).  In September our three special winners were Hannah Wiersma, Jenna Medernach and Vicki Fan. The employee of the month was Mr. Stewart.

Outstanding Sports of October
October in Cudworth School has been filled with many sports and activities.  Our Jr. Football team has been very impressive this season so far, with 3 wins and 1 loss.  The team continues to practice hard for upcoming games.  In volleyball, the Jr. Girls have been doing well in their games and are getting better and better each time they play.  They are attending their first tournament on October 25th.  The Sr. Girls are continuing to work hard in practice and games, they have attended many tournaments and hosted one on September 20th.  The Senior Boys have also been playing many league games and attending many tournaments where they have had some extraordinary results.
